The Centre for Care, Rehabilitation and Enrichment for visually impaired and blind students.

 

This program exists as both an extension of the school day and as summer activities. This is the Centre's fifth year. The Centre provides services to all the blind and visually impaired students that live in the Tel Aviv and central coastal region of Israel. The activities take place two afternoons per week throughout the school year. During summer vacation the camp provides many related activities especially appropriate to the season.

Field trip to Bet -Govrin Cave

 

The programs at the Centre focus on sport, art, rehabilitation, computers and personal adjustment. The activities offered include dance, physical education, drama, ceramics, carpentry, music, drums, home economics, personal management (dressing), orientation and mobility, nature, chess, computer basics, touch typing, word processing, Lego-Logo, and special support groups for students and their parents.
