Tel-Aviv University Science and Technology Education Center

The Knowledge Technology Lab was created in 1981, as part of the Science and Technology Education Center of the Tel-Aviv University.

Our main goal is the identification, study and implementation of innovative ideas regarding the encounter between advanced knowledge technologiesand teaching and learning processes. Research and development projects done by the Lab researchers covered a wide range of issues, among them teaching and learning of computer concepts and programming, the development and use of computer simulations in science and technology teaching, development of information retrieval systems and study of the acquisition of information manipulation skills, development and implementation of MBL hardware and software, videodisc and multimedia systems for science and technology teaching, educational robotics.
